Gloria Flores Baldwin, Esq. works hard to provide high quality legal services at a reasonable rate. Fees are based upon the type of representation. An initial retainer is typically required in most cases. (The amount of the retainer depends on the type of case.)
Currently, our fee structure is as follows:
All retained matters: Upon hiring Ms. Baldwin, unless otherwise specified in your retainer agreement, all matters are completed at the hourly rate of $375.00 per hour.
Pre-retainer initial consultations:
15 minute initial consultation: A brief initial consultation may be made to determine whether you wish to proceed and whether Ms. Baldwin is able to assist you- after which arrangements to retain Ms. Baldwin may be made.
30 minute pre hire consultation: A fee of $175.00 for up to one-half hour
of pre-retainer consultation is charged. This is a stand alone appointment
to determine whether you wish to proceed and whether Ms. Baldwin is able
to assist you- after which arrangements to retain Ms. Baldwin may be made.
60 minute pre hire consultation: A fee of $375.00 for up to one hour of pre-
retainer consultation is charged. This is a stand alone appointment
to determine whether you wish to proceed and whether Ms. Baldwin is able
to assist you- after which arrangements to retain Ms. Baldwin may be
made.
Fixed Maximum Fee Rates: Certain matters may (exclusive of costs, expenses, and specified travel time on behalf of client) qualify for a fixed maximum rate for legal services as follows:
Purchase or sale of residential home may be able to be completed at the fixed rate of $850.00 plus disbursements if closing is held in Onondaga or Oswego counties. If closing is held in any other contiguous county, the rate of $950 plus disbursements (plus an hourly rate of $375.00 for travel time where in person closings are required), may apply. All others may not qualify for a fixed maximum rate.
Ms. Baldwin can let you know at the initial consultation if your matter
qualifies for a fixed maximum rate.
For a single person: $1,200.00 for the above package.
For a couple: $1,850.00 for the above package

Estate planning basic packages: some planning matters may qualify for a fixed rate package to include Last Will and Testament, Power of Attorney, Healthcare Proxy, and Living Will. If yours qualifies, the following rates will apply:
